Seeing Double / In the Mirror Location: Sabi Sands Game Reserve, South Africa It is not often that you find two leopards (Panthera pardus) out in the open but that is exaclty what happened during a visit to the Sabi Sands Game Reserve. The interaction between a female leopard and her 11 month old cub was amazing to see and made for great photographic opportunitites. When the two spotted cats settled on the branch of a fallen tree they started grooming each other, a way of strenghtening the family bonds. It is during this grooming session that this image suddenly showed up in my viewfinder - it looked exactly like the female was looking into a mirror and that was the frame that made the scene come toghether photographically.
